All the prerequisites are important. But the fifth one is critical; Action

You must move your BUTT!

No one else can do it for you.

You must take action, massive action to break the inertia of your current life. The inertia that holds you in the path you have been traveling for years.

Newton’s Laws of Motion state,
“An object at rest tends to stay at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.”

Think of the first law as saying that if you are doing nothing you will continue to do nothing.

Think of the second law as saying if you have been doing something the same way for a long time you will keep doing that same thing unless you are acted upon by an unbalanced force.

It will take some kind of force to get you moving in a different direction. Some people have to lose everything before that force is strong enough. Others find something that is absolutely inspiring that cannot be denied, and then they change direction.

This is why I talk about your passion. You must know what your passion is. And, you must realize that the only way you could have it was to do whatever it took to create your life so that you could have it

To quote Kenichi Ohmae, management consultant, “Rowing harder doesn’t help if the boat is headed in the wrong direction.”

I have a chapter title in one of my books called, “I’ve never done anything like this before!”

If you keep doing what you are now doing (or not doing what you should be doing) your future will be just like your present, at best.

At worst, your future will deteriorate. There is a saying, “If something is not growing, it is dying.”

Your life gets better because you DO SOMETHING to move in a different direction.

Get off your butt, develop these 5 prerequisites for business success and then DO IT!
