Selling Power!
Have you ever met someone who started their own business?
Of course you have. They were just like you and me.
At some point they didn’t have the experience of starting and running their open business. Bit they did have a dream. They did understand that they had a gift. They did understand that working for someone else was NOT the best option.
And they did it!
I have a friend that has a painting company. He is a great guy. We often talk about our businesses, the pros and the cons. But we both agree the pros far out weigh the cons.
But he was just like us. He started his own business and learned as he grew. He found the information, the help, the guidance and support to make his painting company grow and prosper.
Now he has a great family. They have what they want. The kids have opportunities. He has all this due to believing in himself, taking a chance and following what he knew to be true.
He has far more now than if he would have ignored his intelligent inner voice and not been his own boss.
What about you?
What will you be doing in ten years? Enjoying the fruits of your labor, or wondering why you don’t have all you want?
You must find your “truth that must be told” and believe in yourself enough, or believe in your truth, that people see and feel your conviction. Then they will want to follow you. Then they will want to buy from you.
This gives you the power to sell.
And I can hear your little voice saying…
“SELLING! I don’t like to sell!”
Oh really?
Do you ever want to go to a certain restaurant and have to get another person to agree with you?
Have you ever had to go into a store and negotiate a price?
Have you ever had a discussion about something and spoke up about you opinion?
Have you ever asked someone on a date?
Have you ever told someone “Later,…” when it came to intimacy?
Have you ever gotten a new job? Have you ever had to work with someone in your job?
We all sell all the time. We just don’t call it that. It is influence. We need to influence to live. We influence all the time, every day.
Influence = Selling.
It’s just that selling sounds so dirty, or difficult.
We all sell. Its just that some of us understand that we do and educate ourselves about the process. Some of us apply ourselves to pick up or improve selling skills and techniques.
